In order to apply for a scholarship, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Work for one of the following types of national and/or local organisations: ministries, secondary or higher vocational or
- academic educational institutions, universities, private sector, commissions or NGOs.
- The course/programme the applicant is applying for is offered in English, French or Spanish.
- be a professional who, in light of his (1) role, (2) several years of relevant work experience and (3) networks within a topic relevant to local development, is in a position or through his employer to be in a position to apply what he has learned in practice.
